Having a Specific Breed Can Mean More Than You Think

Monday, March 8th, 2010

We’ve all seen the funny pictures of dog and owner looking alike.  But have you ever wondered if having your dog has a hidden meaning or says more about your character and personality than you realize?  We have some insight into what kind of people own certain breeds!  There is no scientific proof of these findings…but it’s fun nonetheless!

French Bulldog

French Bulldog owners tend to be fun and rather silly, always being the clown and life of the party.  Although they do have a serious side, they would much rather laugh and joke around to be the center of attention.  They are loving with a great sense of humor but can get jealous when the attention is not on them.  They live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it.

English Bulldog

Much like the French Bulldog, English Bulldog owners love life, laugh at the smallest things and are silly just for the fun of it.  Though they come with a bit of a stubborn side, it pays off to their advantage as they never give up and are very determined.  They are loyal and committed to their family while being romantic and loving.  English Bulldog owners love to be active but would never pass up a good nap or a relaxing day on the couch.

Yorkshire Terriers

Yorkshire Terrier owners are the solid, organized dog owners.  They are very picky about how they do things and when they do them but are sure to always get things done correctly.  They are a very independent group and are always willing to enter into a good debate with others.  Yorkie owners keep a very clean house and dress to kill at all times.  Bad hair days, although rare, are sure to ruin the day.

Beagles

Beagle owners are the smiles of the dog owners world.  They are always happy, love to meet new people and talk to whoever will listen.  They love to have a good time and bring smiles, laughter and joy to everyone around them.  Although they love to be active in sports and outdoors, they also love to relax and enjoy couch time.

Puggles

Sharing some of the Beagle owner traits, Puggle owners have a zest for life that is hard to match.  They are usually all smiles and love to laugh with their family and friends.  They are adventurous and never turn down a chance to try something new.  They also have a great sense of humor and will do anything to make their loved ones laugh.
